This web site is an enumeration of my
projects... I make dances, I teach, and I perform.
I love insane creative projects. I love massive overwhelming projects. I crave
change (I hope this changes one day). I watch dance, I read about dance.
I really love teaching... seeing people open up to their own creativity and
get excited about it....seeing people be comfortable in their own skin.
I am interested in the rawness of art for no other reason than I believe it
to be more interesting.
I am committed to dance with the hopes of igniting a fire within myself, my
collaborators, my audience, and my students.
Recked Productions strives to present dance as a total theatrical experience: stimulating aesthetic, kinesthetic, intellectual, and emotional sensitivities. They weave all elements of production around the various motivations within each work, are dedicated to the purpose and intent behind movement, and believe that art can be a medium for inspiring individual emotionality and deepening social awareness. In upholding a collaborative spirit, they encourage artistic contributions from all those with whom they work. The work balances risky recklessness, raw irreverence, and rigorous movement invention.
